When you look at photos online, you can quickly get sucked into wanting to go travelling, Iceland, Arizona, Singapore… but there’s so much to enjoy on your doorstep.
When you find yourself at home and you’re inclined to switch on Netflix, grab your camera, go to country park near you, take some nuts and see what happens.
I drove to Townhill Country Park just outside Dunfermline on Saturday afternoon. I had seen bird feeders along the path and I was hoping for some wildlife.
Initially, I only saw a few Great Tits and a robin, but too far away. Eventually, the robin found me!
He posed for me, sat on a branch and allowed me to walk around him. Even when people and their dogs walked by, he wouldn’t fly off. Such a cute little thing. I spent about 20 minutes with the little bird. Very precious moments.
