My second time with Paul McDougall Photography at Hogganfield Loch North of Glasgow. After photographing weddings for almost 20 years, I am keen to learn about wildlife photography.
Paul is an exerperienced wildlife photographer and offers workshop and tours all over Scotland (and internationally) giving enthusiasts the chance to photograph birds and mammals in their natural habitat.
During our first workshop, it poured with rain and we cut it short after an hour, so I joined him again today during a group workshop and after the initial downpour, we were rewarded with changing light during the morning.
Paul is great at explaining concepts around wildlife photography, covering camera settings and composition.
When I was a wedding photographer, I was a “bright and airy” photographer, but now I am crossing over to the other side… I am going dark! With some images anyway…
