Who would have thought there are these amazing sea eagles on the West Coast of Scotland! Hubby and I arranged to join Mark Johnson from Pennyhedges on one of his Sea Eagle Outings at Loch Shiel (Glenfinnan). I didn’t know what to expect – had no idea how long we’d be on the boat and what the chances are to see wildlife.
It turned out it was a private charter from Loch Shiel Highland Cruises and there were only 10 of us on board (the boat can take 50!). So we had lots of space and everyone managed to take lots of photos.
We were the last ones on board and we were greeted by huge camera lenses attached to serious wildlife enthusiasts. Our lenses in comparision were on the small side, but this didn’t stop us from getting amazing images.
